Dining tables in solid wood
What is the best dining table ?
The immediate and easy answer is: "it's yours". We'll just add a few caveats, because our company can't do "everything". For example, we can't accommodate requests for "all-glass" or "all-metal" tables.
Secondly, it's not possible to fit many "wallet" extensions under a small tabletop, simply because there isn't the space.
Finally, as we produce each table individually, we won't be able to obtain the same prices as tables produced by the hundreds and imported in containers from the other side of the world... as for the rest, treat yourself and dare to ask us for the table of your dreams!
Here's a selection of what you can already find on these pages: extendable tables, square-oval-oval/tonneau-rectangular-round tables, classic and contemporary styles, wood or metal legs, wood-ceramic-glass tops, oak-oak-merry-walnut.
You can also take inspiration from existing models and modify the dimensions, number of extensions, design, etc...
How do I calculate the ideal dimensions for my table?
Tables are arranged in cm / inches, but accommodate people of different ages, heights and builds. It is also possible to "squeeze in" if the reception is not very formal.
The following correspondences should not be taken at face value, but can already give a relationship between the dimensions of the table you wish to acquire and the number of people it will accommodate. Don't forget to add the widths of the extensions supplied to obtain the maximum length:
square tables: 100x100 cm / 39.4" x 39.4" for 4 people, 120 x 120 cm / 47.2" x 47.2" for 6 people, 150x150 cm / 59.1" x 59.1" for 8 people, 160-170 cm / 63" - 67" for 10 people.
round tables: diam. 90 cm / 35.4" for 4 people, diam. 125 cm / 49.2" for 6 people, diam. 130 cm / 51.2" for 8 people, diam. 150 cm / 59.1" for 10 people
rectangular tables: 110 cm / 43.3" x 70 cm / 27.6" for 4 people, 150 cm / 59.1" x 90 cm / 35.4" for 6 people, 200 cm / 78.7" x 100 cm for 8 people, 240 cm / 94.5" x 100 cm / 39.4" for 10 people
