Two types of bed base are available for the MÉLANIE bed frame:

The wood comes from sustainably managed forests and is processed by PEFC-certified sawmills. Carefully selected from premium grades 1 and 1+, it offers a beautifully consistent appearance, without prominent knots or visual imperfections, for an elegant and lasting finish.

Made individually to order with an average production time of approximately 5–6 weeks, the MÉLANIE bed can also be produced in standard French, European and UK/US sizes.

This model can also be made to order in other fine solid woods, including oak, ash and walnut, each selected for its strength, natural beauty and suitability for high-quality furniture.

The MÉLANIE bed frame consists of a headboard, a footboard and two side rails forming the main structure.

Two cylindrical wooden support bars run across the frame to support the bed base.

They are positioned 20 cm above the floor as standard. Their height can be adjusted when ordering to accommodate your chosen bed base and mattress and achieve your preferred sleeping height.

The average production time, including manufacturing, finishing and final quality checks, is approximately 5–6 weeks.

For mainland France, delivery is free of charge, excluding Corsica, islands and locations with difficult access.

Two professional furniture delivery specialists deliver your bed by appointment directly into the room of your choice.

Each component is carefully protected with reusable furniture blankets, helping prevent scratches while considerably reducing packaging waste.

For Corsica, islands and locations involving difficult access — such as upper floors without a lift, restricted parking, high-altitude locations or the need for special lifting equipment — an additional charge may apply.

For selected European destinations, including Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom, premium delivery into the room may also be available. Assembly can be offered depending on the destination.

For minor touch-ups, a furniture repair pen suitable for the selected wood species and finish can be used.
