Complete bed, bed frame or bed wood s... what's the difference ?
Maison GONTIER offers all the bed pieces you need to create a complete bed frame, including long sides, support rails, headboard and footboard. This gives you the entire bed frame, and allows you to install your bed base and standard mattress, which we don't supply.
You can also order a headboard on its own, without having to buy the complete frame. This headboard can be attached to your box spring, providing comfort for your sleep by offering protection between the wall and your head.
We offer a choice of solid oak or cherry for each model. The finish can be customized using the color chart on the website, or from colors you already like or use.
Do you prefer a bed with curved or straight lines?
For soft, curved shapes requiring extensive cabinetwork, look to the Louis Philippe style and the FLAUBERT collection. Wooden bed frames are available in 2 versions. The first version features a high footboard known as the "dossier", while the second offers a lowered footboard known as the "socle".
For a design with straight lines, choose the Louis XVI Directoire style and the MELANIE collection. A rhombus (or diamond) decorates the center of the headboard. The footboard also features cartouches (or fluting) in the center.
Whatever style you choose, our beds are suitable for 140 cm/55.1" x 190 cm/74.8" + 140 cm/55.1" x 200 cm/78.7" + 160 cm/63" x 200 cm/78.7" and 180 cm/70.9" x 200 cm/78.7" mattresses.
